The gameplay of Shadow Fight 2 is highly addictive and it’s basically one of those games that you just can’t let go once you’ve gotten the hang of all the basics. The fighting mechanics are some of the most unique out there. Combat feels extremely fluid and there are multitudes of ways through which you can outplay your opponent and deal some serious damage. The control scheme consists of the kick key, punch key and the directional buttons. It might seem a bit too simple on paper but there’s actually a lot more to it than meets the eye since the direction you press while kicking or punching will decide what kind of kick/punch you’ll execute and if you keep this in mind you’ll be able to pull off some really solid combos that will straight up wreck your opponent.
The game also features a whole bunch of weapons that you can equip your character with to give it a bunch of extra stats in combat. Equipping a weapon will alter the animations a bit and will make your character deal more damage but the overall gameplay still remains the same so you don’t need to worry about relearning the whole control scheme over again after you equip a weapon.
Onto the visuals, Shadow Fight 2 is definitely one of the most, if not the most distinct looking game out there. The in-game animations are incredibly fluid and it’s very pleasing to watch the shadows move around and fight each other in fast-paced combat.
As for micro-transactions, you’ll be able to purchase the in-game currency with real world money. This currency can then be used to buy different weapons and enhancements for your character.
